2016 FTLOP Holiday Party (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2007. Amber-orange with yellow edges and some fine sentiment. Intense nose of brown sugar and orange spice. Something was a little initially funky on the palate. Unctuous mouthfeel on the mid-palate. The more air this gets though, the more it tastes like something is off with this bottle.

Good color. Medium body and low acidity. Cheddar cheesy nose and some burnt toast. It's got some kind of funky quality I've noticed in several other Rocha Colheitas. The palate has some nice rich flavors.

Medium tawny color, fading to tan and then almost yellow at the rim. Very slight hint of vinegar on the nose, not at all bad and in fact just enough to make it smell nice and rich. Hints of dijon mustard, morel mushrooms, and toasted corn in the mouth all just barely noticeable beneath the more typical dried apricots, figs, and brown sugar. Silky smooth in the mouth, and excellent Colheita.

FTLOP 12th Anniversary; 7/21/2017-7/23/2017 (Seattle, Washington): Bottled in 2006. Brown-amber in color. Cocoa powder notes on the nose. Balanced and well-integrated palate with a smooth finish. Touches of cinnamon and orange spice on the finish.
