Very tight, acidic, and closed on day 1. Significantly better on day 2, with berry, mineral, and acid mixing together nicely as a food friendly wine. Last glass on day 4 held together pretty well.

Drank with family this weekend. Recall very plummy nose on the pop and pour that gave it a sense of age. With air the nose expanded and gained complexity. The palate was very plush. Lots of good fruit. Good length. It was better on day two. Would buy again.

damn good bottle of wine. lots of red fruit on the nose and palate and some leathery/tobacoo notes as well. the finish was fantastic. one long zinngggggg that just kept going and going. the only knock on it was that it was just a little bit hot.

Popped and poured… Cote Bonneville Carriage house is 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot.
It’s been a year since I had this wine, and I had forgotten what a treat it is! Color: Dark garnet in the glass. Aroma: This vintage truly jumps out of the glass with scents of strawberry jam, plums, raspberries and a hint of rhubarb. Tasting notes: This wine is seven and one half years old now and is really a delicious blend! Very fruit-driven, exhibiting blueberry, boysenberry, plums with a sweet candy nuance. It is truly a complex and elegantly balanced wine.

This was much better than my last bottle, with sweet red fruits dominating but a backbone giving behind it giving the wine good depth.
