Burgundy Dinner with Friends (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Another 2013 that is better now vs when last tasted (in 2017), with an enticing sweet/ tart combination. Seems nearly rich, but also green-tinged and lean. Lots here, just slightly lacking the concentration I would want for a top 1er Cru.

Very good and complex, though aging fast. One of the better Chardonnays I’ve encountered, on the downward slope. *4th night drinking like aged Chardonnay. Very good, acid nice and integrates with everything else going on.

I see the notes of others ( rightly ) saying this is over the hill. I think it is correct that this no longer has the purity and energy of puligny in its prime; that said, we loved it. Was a little bit, but not much, darkened in color.... and very pleasant... with gorgeous nose of peach and cantaloupe. I see a couple others have notes to that effect. The finish was a slight bit funky and not what you expect from prime puligny. I have one more which I will drink ASAP and also ordered some 2018. Even if not nearly what it once was ( we waited too long), those complex notes on the bouquet were great. Very pleasant

Very unfortunate I could not find this in the cellar a year ago...was buried too deep. I had it two years ago and was remarkable. The color was dark yellow which alarmed me. It was nothing like the one two years ago having suffered from premox like so many. It was not bad, but was not that vibrant. A real shame as this is the only Clos producer of that hallowed ground.
