Clear medium gold; clean pronounced nose of lemon curd, caramel, vanilla, yeast, honey and perhaps pineapple; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus alcohol; full body; pronounced flavour intensity; pfn with addition of burnt caramel/creme brûlée; long finish; drinking really well now - but might still get a little better; amazing contemplation wine

We pnp'd at dinner with some good friends. Light yellow in color, the nose was floral and lemon. The palate was lemon flowers, melon, some kiwi and a touch of oak. A really nice finish.

I had this at the winery several years ago and thought it was like a 95. Last week it just fell s bit short. Age hasn't done this wine, or at least this bottle, any favors. Came off too big and blowsy. 2012 CA can be great but perhaps the chard wasnt meant to age. Not bad but just better earlier.

Medium gold in colour with slight cloudiness; nose of caramel, croissant, butter, honey and apricots; pfn with lemon and toast; balanced; long, lingering finish with addition of pear; a little less retrained than Kistler; absolutely delicious
