Very enjoyable right now with a quick decant (1 hr). Nose starts off with white flowers, Golden Delicious apple, and buttery pastries but starts to evolve into a toasted sesame/popcorn note with air.
Palate is rich if not particularly 'dense.' There's sweet tropical fruit and a warm spices like clove and cinnamon. Very welcome acidity to prevent the whole thing from becoming cloying. I'd say this is just at the crest with it probably starting to fall off soonish, I'd drink up soon if you want to catch it at its peak. ~94.

Purchased direct from the winery in 2019. What a gorgeous nose: sweet oak intertwined with aromatic summer flowers (jasmine), a hint of red apple and even some sweet white corn. Such a rich and intense bouquet. Wow! On the palette, buttery mouthfeel offset by a light acid and welcome bitterness of grapefruit. Dry. Deep yellow color showing it’s age in spring ‘21. Incredible balance. Not overly complex but layered enough to keep you fishing for more. Loooong finish. Loved this chard.

A nose of orchard flowers. The palate was peach, pear and mineral with just a touch of vanilla on a moderate to long finish. Served with pan seared scallops in a tarragon cream sauce.

A dilemma. In midst of a chicken pot pie dinner and no thought of popping a serious wine, a call regarding grandson first college admission. Needed wine to celebrate. This fit bill. Wonderful balance of oak and acidity. Lingers on the palate. Hobbs just seems to know how to hit my taste buds.

Wine is in great shape right now. Ripe pears and hay with a bit of Meyer lemon peel. A little bit of air opened this up nicely and soothed out the acids. A very enjoyable wine with a long lush finish.
