  • I haven't had this in a while and remembered it being better. It's fine for sipping, but I'm not sure Pinot and Syrah blend well. Now and again the syrah would come through but it was mostly Pinot. Lots of cherry.

  • A very interesting wine. I've never seen Pinot with Syrah before. Medium to full bodied, purple with pinkish rim. Decanted 1 hour. The nose combines the bright cherry of pinot with the smoky meatiness (ham) and spice (cloves, white pepper) of a syrah. On the palate it is true to the nose, dark cherry up front, with a fair amount of spice on a medium finish. Good mouthfeel with solid balance of tannins and acidity. Could use more time to integrate all these flavors, but overall a solid wine that paired will with our spiced chicken. Would buy again as it seems to be appropriately priced.

  • Very nice wine. Lots of fruit, but not a fruit bomb. The longer it was open, the more the Syrah flavors showed up. Nice, enjoyable wine. Very good value. Will buy again.

  • 50/50 Pinot Syrah blend-unusual, Pinot upfront with Syrah finsh, the two flavors are very distinct and don't mesh. Enjoyable but why blend these two, does not work.
