Best bottle of the bunch ,a pinot and syrah blend that works, who'd a thunk? High alc @ 14.5%, but this bottle being the last of the 1/2 case purchased, has inmproved w/a little time. A very nice BBQ wine, big, smooth w/a hint of complexity. For $3.99 at Grocery Outlet a complete steal. Really nice everyday quaffer.

Popped and poured. Blackberry along w/blueberry on the nose. Full bodied, w/the syrah really pronounced on this particular bottle (blend of pinot noir and syrah). A big wine, this has improved from last tasting, great w/just about anything off the grill or pasta dishes. Well done & improving w/bottle age.

Interesting blend here, pinot noir and syrah. Syrah dominates on the nose, w/a kind of earthy pinot aroma way back in the distance. A full bodied, full throttle wine @ 14.5% Alc, but finding at a Beaverton, Or. Grocery outlet for $3.99 vs.the normal $18 or so retail...who gives a rip! This is a unique blend that doesn't necessarily work, but have to give the winemaker and winery the credit for having the guts to try a blend of this nature. Good w/burgers, ribs, BBQ, and Arnold movies! Dat's right...
