Sommelier Scholarship Fund Tasting (Popina - Brooklyn NY): Walk around tasting. Still firm, slightly clunky despite good black fruit. I liked this more when last tasted in 2019.
Light burg with with good fruit on the nose but soft light palate. Ok but fading.
La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Ripe red and black cherry with good weight and balance, but a slightly simple finish. Easy to enjoy today.
Quick Impressions from the 2019 La Paulée Verticals Tasting (Eventi Hotel, New York): Light red. More lifted and green than the 2015. Lighter, less sappy. Red fruit and citrus. Good energy and overall quality but not special.
