  • Found this in my cellar. Hasn’t turned. If you are still holding any, be prepared for sour cherry and quite one dimensional. If blind tasted, I’d guessed simple blend from Tuscany. Drink up.

  • This bottle was disappointing. Previously, I had this at the winery and enjoyed it. This wine started out with initial black cherry, but finished very acidic and peppery. It felt like it was burning my tongue. I tasted it the next night, and it was even more acidic. I ended up dumping more than half of the bottle. I won't gamble on this one again.

  • Had this by the glass on our Caribbean cruise as part of the "Premium" beverage package. lol. This was noteworthy for what it offered on the nose. Very beautiful and amazingly intense aromas of tapenade and bell pepper, along with hints of earth and spice. Reminded me immediately of the 2007 Vieux Chateau Certan. Full-bodied and very rich on the palate, with plenty of black cherry and dark currant fruit - but seemed slightly over-extracted. There just wasn't enough acidity to keep this from coming across as a bit flabby. Had a nice fruity finish that showed a decent amount of length. If the palate had lived up to the nose, this would have been a real stunner. Still, quite enjoyable for a very reasonably priced Sonoma Cab.

  • I enjoyed it while eating a nice chicken and pasta dish with a lite white sauce. It started out nice, with low acidity and nice fruit flavors of black cherry. However, it didn't get better over time. I didn't finish the bottle and the next day the wine had lost a lot of its flavor and was very acidic. Rather than tossing what was left, I opened some Asigo cheese and it helped soften the wine. The cheese saved the day, not the wine.

  • For $18, better than just another easy drinkin cab from California. Deep, complex and smooth.
