  • Really good. Much more integrated elements now. This bottle suggests prime drinking has begun. Dont serve too warm - theres a little heat noticeable.

  • On PnP it was all funk, bad funk. After lots of air it turned butchershop - meat. 3 hrs in it got better with lilac, liquorice, little inkyness. 13 abw but still felt it. Will hold a few yrs more, judging by this bottle.

  • Decanted for 30 mins. This is a super fruity wine, lots of sweet cassis on the nose, with a bit of lilac and licorice. The palate is also very fruity, with lots of tannins. A bit too much for me, although nice enough.

  • At first it gives away nothing. But after a lot of swirling it opens up. I get cherries, blueberries and herbs. Sage? It gets better with every sip. 88 on its way to 89 when sadly the bottle is empty.

Wanna buy more of this. Best Malbec I ever had.

  • The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of black olives, liquorice, vanilla, cedar, ripe dark plums and dark cherries.

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has velvety fine-grained but firm tannins and a medium alcohol. It has a medium body and pronounced intensity flavours. The finish is long.

Outstanding wine. The finish is very persistent and pleasant, and it has a juicy concentration. The strucutre of this wine is enough to age it for more than 10 years, and it is well-balanced by the flavour intensity. It also shows complexity provided by oak and bottle ageing.
