I do think this is my last bottle, quite good maturity, ver oily, creamy flow over the mid palate, tight and yellow fruit driven, drink over the next 3 years, **-***, around 90(+)

Currently very closed and muted. I tasted the wine in its primary fruit stage last year and this is now completely different. No formal notes. Will wait for at least 8 months .

Day 4 in the Nahe - Donnhoff/Schafer-Frohlich/Emrich-Schoenleber (Nahe - Germany): From 45-50 year old vines. A touch salty, this was super fresh with limes and other tart fruits. Tim commented that the red slate the vines are on can give this wine a bit more of a body than other Weissburgunders in the region. Felt that was fair...it did seem to have more of a presence.

yellow fruit in the nose, some herbs, what an intense appearance on the palate, very young still, acid driven, spicy, flowered, some melon, midweight body, long+ finish, will improve by 3+ years of cellaring, *(**+-?), 89- 92+?
