We just started Restaurant Week in Hong Kong, which promises to be 10 most interesting and new sipping ’n snacking experiences for us in as many days. Isono was our first stop, which was fun because we have known the manager for many years and they have 30 wines by the glass. Buckle-up…We like Matsu. The face on the bottle tells a story about each wine. This is the middle-age man. Great fun! We first sipped in Andorra. Always nice to try again. By the glass? Magic. Dark black-purple. Warm, yet soft-ripe fruits on the nose, slightly chocolatey. Medium finish.

I think this wine has potential to be a 90+ with another year or so in bottle.
Red fruits, with hint of chocolate on the nose.
Flavours were initially very closed. Fruit is dominated by the leather and grippy tannins. Showed decent sweetness and acidity though once the bottle had been open an hour. It has a nice velvety texture once its softened.
