Ruby red. Classic medium plus intensity Pinot nose of bright red fruit, including cherry, raspberry, and red currant, with underlying oak spices. It is dry and Shows bright acidity and medium body on the palate, with cherry, raspberry, and cranberry fruits over baking spice, with supple tannins and a short finish. Good concentration without being jammy, and some hints of that classic Pinot snappiness. A nice Oregon Pinot.

Dobbes has deftly crafted a high-quality wine with this blend from multiple Willamette Valley vineyard sources. Medium ruby and nicely aromatic, it serves up raspberries, cranberries, clove and earth on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, fresh and with unnoticeable alcohol (listed as 14.2%), it wraps the flavors with medium-weight, fine-grained tannins. The middle palate is solid and leads to tart, medium-length finish. This delicious Pinot should be at its best over the next five years. Drink now-2020.

Totally oxidized. Smells of Madeira. Have to assume this is a bad sample.

Strawberry, tart, pinot. Decent but quite hot especially on the first night.
