A disaster of a wine. Needed to be drunk exceptionally cold where it started to develop more citrus notes and minimize the "wild" fermentation notes that make this simply taste more of a sour ale gone wrong than wine. Otherwise this was a tired wine that tastes almost exclusively of orange creamsicle.

Library release from a month or so ago. Solid acidity and minerality. Med+ bodied held up well in fridge a few days after opening too. Fairly smooth, medium length finish. Light ctrus on the palate. On day one I remembered sensing bananas on the nose, but days later it was mostly lemons dominating.

I wasn't fair to this wine: I didn't let it breathe, and it first came across disjointed. But with air and food it blossomed like a sunflower. Chalky dusty lemon nose. Palate rich but not fruity, meyer lemon, pomelo rind, and a finish that sneaks up on you and attacks again and again.

Drinking well, lemon & green apple. Acidic, light minerals. Tasty though simple.

Lemon curd, minerals, apricots. Searing acidity. Quite nice.
