What's up with all wines from Chile smelling intensely of blackcurrant jam?
No traces of Syrah character here, but mainly fruit, blackberries, blackcurrants, coffee and a distinct burned note of charred wood. Medium acidity, dry but with plenty of fruit, slight astringency, medium body, decent intensity and length.
I like the slightly cooler feeling matched with the opulent fruit, there is no "sun drenching/kissing" going on here.

Ok for 99 SEK, but it's better to use it for vine sauce, that's what i did.

It opened up beautifully after an hour. Full bodied, spicy with good acidity and medium aftertaste. Good QPR.
