Opened one hour and advance. Faint apricot aroma. Subtle flavors of peach, white fruit. Almonds in the finish. Decent backbone, linear, attractive flavors, though a little unfocused.
Wan and listless when first opened, it does gains traction with some air time. Good, not great, and comparably high priced by Finger Lakes standards.

Tasted at the winery. Green apple, citrus and mineral notes on the nose. Apple and pear upfront with lemon and lime behind, leading to a mineral driven finish. The fruit was slightly softer and a bit more open than what I recalled from my prior tasting from bottle (Sept 2016), but at the same time, the wine retained it's solid acidity derived backbone. Has integrated quite nicely over that time and shows good overall balance. Based on this overall balance, felt like the wine was at peak or close. My fears that the acidity would outlast the fruit appear unfounded as they're really melding together well. Should be able to hold this level for at least another couple of years.

Light petrol notes, citrus flavors, lime, lemon leaves, light and doesn't feel like its going to be quite dense. Med body, lime, citrus, some petrol notes again, med to high acidity, some RS, lacking real strength, it would be nice though on its own.
