50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir Decent nose with mirabelles, golden apple, dried fruits, toasted brioche and candied hazelnuts. The palate is a little soft. Overall, rather nondescript.

During a merchant walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Very good NV, 6 years on lees. Highly aromatic with white flowers, brioche, stone fruit. Classic dosage. Impressive for an entry level.

Stand up tasting. 50/50 Chardonnay (Avize) and Pinot Noir (Ambonnay), this is current release, so probably 2016 base with 30% reserve. Bright and lean with good length, on the ultra brut side of Brut.

solid bubbles. orchard fruit and some honey on the nose. would have like a bit more creamy mousse to offset the acidity
