Beautifull Amarone, touch rustic, full of raisin, herbs, spice, plum and leather. The finish is very long, sweet and alcoholic. In my view fully mature and at peak. Drink over the coming years.

We drank this over 3 days. Best on day 3. Especially on day 1 the acid backbone was very obvious. All in all signs, that this Amarone should be kept for 1-2 years longer. For the rest it seems a very promising red to me.

Black ruby. Violets, plums, new leather and raw meat on the focused, intense nose. Rich and mouth-coating but not heavy on the palate, with smooth texture and fine acid balance. No one will mistake this for a barbera, but sets off a stuffed pheasant quite nicely. Heady, so be ready...
