  • My bottle was super smooth with 0 acidity, alcool not perceived, and a pleasand sweetness mixed with dry fruits. The wine itself was not dry at all. Lovely to my taste.

  • Raisin and earth, I think a little out of balance with the acid a little bit too much overtaking the tannin.

Night two, changed this from 87 to 90. Here are the flavors of dried prune! It has more length and complexity and th e acid and tannin are in beautiful balance. Husband thought the exact same. I have had experience with a better wine on day two, but usually the fruit fades.

  • I noted the name of this wine so I will never buy it again. I have loved - even wallowed in - Amarone from other producers, including some while visiting in the Veneto itself, but this set the whole project way back. It has the structure and body you hope for but the flavor was off. I suspect the balsamic flavors got out of control. My companion agreed. The server warned us this was considered "dry" for an Amarone. That was not the problem. I have never spent $50 for such a dud. (I have spent more for other Amarones, of course, and have invariably been pleased.) And no, the bottle was not defective. In fairness, it may have been the vintage but I am not eager to try this wine again.

  • The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin. It tastes like forest floor. The body is medium/full. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity. Needs time
    The wine looks crimson colored.
