  • Soapy, almost muscat-like nose, more melon-fruit than citrus-fruit... cantaloupe, cereal, apricot, passionfruit aromas. The palate is powerful and fruity, textural and almost viscous. Offers plenty of concentration, but with some difficult grapefruit pith-like bitterness dominating the flavour profile and aftertaste. My first Scheurebe and probably my last... Keller are a great producer - if this is their representation of the variety then that doesn't give me much enthusiasm for it.
