  • On the nose a good mix of berries, both red and blue: lingonberries, strawberries, boysenberries and cherries. Also beetroot, some charcuteries, liquorice and spice. A touch of floral perfume with dried roses and lilacs. On the palate intense, sweet fruit but a bit lighter and brighter fruit-profile with more of the red berries. Soft and silky, especially for Pommard. There is nothing rustic about it. Fine grained tannins give support but do not intrude on the almost seamless transition to a long, tingling finish where fruit and acidity mingle with a light touch of pepper and spice. Very good. Might be some upside with cellaring if it gains more complexity but very nice to drink already.

  • Intense floral perfume blossoms right out of the glass. Fairly straightforward in terms of palate but again the nose is incredibly enchanting.
