Screwcap, slight effervescence on the first pour. Green apples, spicy pear, wet stone and some tropical hints on the nose. Primarily peach and simple syrup notes on the palate, low acid and a light, thin mouthfeel. More like "peach juice" than what I expect even from a QbA especially considering the the $17.99 price tag (Hope Valley Bottle Shop). A few bucks more and you make tremendous leaps in quality. Style & Quality: B- (80), Value C (79), Overall Evaluation: B-.

Tough not to like German Riesling. This is off dry, and could use more acid. Not fruit driven, TDN and some spicy pear on the nose. Good focus on the palate, but leans towards off dry.

Cap felt like it lightly "popped" when unscrewing, and tiny bubbles were visible in the wine, however they quickly vanished. Very light straw color. On the nose, apple and floral notes, with a slight plastic feel, but nothing unpleasant, all very delicate. On the palate, a bit sweet but with a nice acidity to match; well balanced. Pear notes, followed by an apple aftertaste. Only 8.5% alc./vol. and feels like it, very easy to drink. Excellent QPR, will buy again for sure.

Delightful! Everything one could ask for in a modestly priced Mosel Riesling. Sulfur and spice veins run throughout the experience.
