Pronounced nose of red and black berry fruits with ash, leather and pepper. Just a hint of rose petals.
The palate bursts with fresh red cherries, vanilla, raspberries. Bright acidity lifts the mid-palate, with varietal earth and herbaceousness. Fine tannins follow through a lingering, elegant and feminine finish. Just a touch of the Old World, but a superbly balanced wine.

medium Ruby to purple with a nice aroma of flowers, blackberry, plum, oak, black pepper. Medium body with soft tannins with an earthy, forest floor and medium length. Could very well be a pleasing, easy-drinking spring red wine (maybe cool to 55-60F) for serving. I wouldn't hold it in my cellar any longer as seems like at prime if not past prime.

Upon initial pour the wine was good, not great. However, as my glass rested the wine opened up and really impressed.
