  • Still drinking well. Reddish fruit but not especially complex. Good with food.

  • Moderately ok on P&P first night with faint traces of red fruits, loads of minerals but seems something was missing. Night in the fridge under vacuvin didn't help. Drink up

  • Our last bottle of this was green and weedy so we had a back up ready just in case. Needn't have worried, this one was back to the good bottles. Bright red fruit, some baking spices, a little of the Fass signature green, but only a touch. No hard edges, more than sufficient acid to handle a good roast chicken with crispy skin. Don't think there will be much improvement from here, but it should hold a while. Actually started shutting down in the glass just before we finished it. Not a screaming value, but not bad for the sub $40 price tag. A modest little burgundy with good breeding.

  • From memory. Decanted and started drinking after 1 hr. Initially, still somewhat tight on the nose with tart cranberry and citrus flavors. Definitely needed food to calm the acids. After 2 hrs in the decanter, nice but subtle aromas of black cherries and blackberries started coming out. Palate was still rather sharp. On day 4 with about a glass worth in a 187 ml bottle, really nice aromas of black cherries/blackberries, bark, herbs and earth. Palate was more rounded but still more on cranberry, rhubarb, grapefruit spectrum, some earthiness and tannins. If blindfolded and told to just have a taste, I almost would have guessed a high acid skin contact white bc of the acids. OK now but may turn out really beautiful with some age.
