  • Nicely aged riesling. Nose with peach, quince and some petrol. Palate with fresh citrus and some bitter tones. Tasty and fresh, good wine!

  • pale golden colour, smells a little bit of lovage and petrol, not overly dry, in the mouth some apricot and a little bit of petrol, not much acidity, in the aftertaste apricot, quite a short finish, reminds me of a pinot blanc, glad this is the last bottle

  • clear and clean with a medium lemon greene core. developing

on the nose it's medium intense aromas of: stonefruit like peach, aprikot, lemon, greene apples, lychee, quite mineral and some floral notes. Developing.

On the Palate it is high aciddity, medium% and medium+ flavour intensity and body with aromas of: stonefruit, cocos, lychee, lime, green apples, great minreality, medium+ finish

very good quality wine which can be stored for 5-10 years at least. Well balanced and very intense, well concentrated and a very complex nose, not as complex on the palate as i thought after smelling it. lacks a little concentration and complexity to be outstanding quality, 89-90p

  • Enjoyable and fairly classy wine with oderly body and a good balance between fruityness, minerality and (not too high) acidity.
    Some elegance as well.

Had just a small glass of it, could well be that I'll need to raise this to 90 points upon further examination.

With ca. 16 EUR price this wine is right on the curve (i.e. average / fair QPR)

  • pale yellow, smells of mirabelle and of a certain minerality, in the mouth there is mirabelle, too, quite a full body, neither too sweet nor too dry, it tastes somehow oily with hardly any acidity, there is no sprightliness in this wine, a long finish with mirabelle, good quality Riesling, but somehow lacks freshness due to the low acidity. I think I prefer the Nackenheim Riesling of KG.
