  • Drinking younger than 2014 and 2015, not in a tannic way, but huge fruit, lots of velvety tannins and a distinct coco oaky thing that is reminiscent of american oak (tho it certainly has non) that makes this really fascinating and fun to drink. This has years ahead of it still, but drinks fine now.

  • Excellent drinking window with some silky and crunchy-spicy tannins that support the black berry, red berry spicy fruit. Oak is actually a bit more pronounced than other vintages but well integrated still. Drank in late Aug of 2023 but will age for a few more years too.

  • After my 2019 review, was hesitant to go down the rabbit hole again...this time it was worth it. :15 decant and this wine was singing a lovely song. Syrah grape was prevalent but the uniqueness came from the Cab and Petit Verdot grapes. it was a long, but worthwhile wait.

  • Nice nose with ripe dark berry notes and lots of awesome tertiary notes like leather, dried tobacco leafs and dried mushrooms. Ripe blackberries, blueberries, wet forest floor, lots of graphite notes on the palate. Medium (+) bodied with a medium acidity. The high alcohol (15.8%) is integrated nicely. Tannins are smooth and silky. Beautiful fruit depth and structure. Great overall complexity and an amazing balance. The finish is very long and elegant.
This is a perfect spot now. It’ll stay beautiful for the next couple of years, but it’s not made for eternity. Drink up until 2025.
We had two bottles of this wine on that evening, both stored the same over the years, one was a little further developed than the other one. Amazing quality considering that this is only one of their entrance level wines.
Approximately 25,000 bottles of this vintage were produced. (IG)

  • En verticale avec un 2012. Sublime ! Moins fruité que le 2012. Belle longueur en bouche.
