Final body. My notes from last year still apply. Inky, and moderate tannins for seventeen years. Perhaps a little less fruit but still an enjoyable wine.

Decanted one hour prior. This was was awesome and in its prime. Beautifully aged. Still lots of cherry and red fruit with smoke and black pepper notes. Tannins receding but integrated. Smooth. Medium finish. Drink now, I don't believe this will get any better.

Been a year n a half since the last one. Popped n decanted. Min sed. Mature cab at peak or slightly on downhill. Some dark red fruit on nose and palate. Still some grip, nice mouthfeel. Great qpr!

Popped and poured out of a magnum. Good color with some slight bricking towards the edges. Aromas suggest that it's fully mature but very inviting none-the-less. Bits of leather, cedar and earth is mixed with the typical Mount Veeder fruit...very nice. Drank quite well for about an hour and a half before it started to get a bit tired. Not long after that, the fruit was replaced by olives and a noticeable amount of alcohol. Not a bad experience considering the age and the "poor" vintage. If you have any of this left, I would drink it all very soon. No further development to come so enjoy it while you can.

Has held up well. Modest bricking. Good nose and finish. Nice mouthfeel of red fruits. Very pleasant still.
