  • Medium nose shows black cherry, white pepper, baking spice, dried vanilla, raspberry, fresh potpourri. Palate is sweeter New World style, black cherry, vanilla, a little cocoa, raspberry, bing cherry. Alcohol seems subdued though (13.7%) so that's well done. Finish matches the fruit, could be longer, mostly an upfront flavor profile.

  • Such an "easy drinker," this medium ruby-colored wine delivers aromas and flavors of spicy black raspberries, cola and smoke. Medium-bodied, fresh, softly tannic and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13.7%), it stays solid in the middle and closes with medium length. This round, delicious Pinot will please many palates and comes at an attractive price. Drink now-2018.
