A pair of '13 Renaud Mâcons (Charnay and Solutré-Pouilly)
Turns out I had a second Charnay in inventory that I did not know about. This one did not fair better than the first. I opened this before the Solutré-Pouilly and I was taken back by the med. gold color. First sniff confirmed what I thought, oxidized. This was not undrinkable and I'd rate it about the same as before, 84.
Mushy apple and spiced lemon aromas and mustiness; medium viscous body with sherry notes and some tropical and citrus fruit.
The cork on the Solutré-Pouilly looked to be in much better shape.

Had with the '13 Macon Solutre at the same time. Very light in color; faint ripe nose; quite sweet body with some citrus and tropical fruits; moderate acidity. Not bad but I can think of a half of dozen other bottles of inexpensive White Burgundy I'd purchase before this.

Starts with ripe citrus fruit before abruptly transitioning to acid and minerals. Light bodied but intense and a bit disjointed. Not bad, and a decent QPR but I've enjoyed this more in previous vintages.

Inexpensive Burgundy-Goisot, Renaud, Ballorin (K&L Wines, San Francisco): Yellow. Light citrus. Ripe front end with nice texture but then a very lean, mineral finish. Atypical for Macon.
