JM and James at CIA - Bocuse! (Hyde Park): Effusive red fruit, cherry, soft leather funk. Cola nut, bright acidity, savoury. Some regional elegance, simple and approachable, showing pleasant savoury sweetness and ash on the finish. Went well with chestnut and porcini soup.

A steal and ready to drink. I can even smell/taste a little barnyard in there. If this is the future of $30 Burgundy, Oregon and New Zealand have a problem. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. It tastes like forest floor. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Unbelievably good affordable Burgundy. That's almost an oxymoron now right???
