The window here says up to 2017, my experience is different, this is a deep dense wine. After an hour it began to coalesce. Into something real nice. This is a rich deep wine that on day two found its identity. I can only recommend that it breathes and have it with something big. I had polpettini with San Marzano tomatoes and parmigiano and the acidic tomatoes and the beef in the polpettini complemented the wine. On day two the fruit really shined. It is all supported by grainy textured tannins. All in all a real nice bottle. Something, if I were in the south of France, I would be so so happy. I am pretty happy in my kitchen. I have one left and I think 2018. This is all Langedouc. It is all terroir. It's all good. Just right.

I said I would wait a year and I waited a year and a day, not bad...this time around the tannins have mellowed substantially. Medium bodied wine that is smooth and with well integrated tannins. I think the drinking window of by 2017 is a fair estimate. I don't have a lot of experience with garnacha, but this bottle was wonderful.
Popped the cork around 11. Decanted through a venturi and then poured into a larger decanter for another hour. Poured back into the bottle and consumed over 2.5 hours.

This is better this time around. Much more in terms of dark fruit with some nutmeg or cinnamon. Tannins are bold but well integrated. I think I'll wait another year before opening another....

I’d say at the end of the line. Still good though!

Wonderful. Time has done this well. Should drink well beyond its 10th bday.
