Did not live up to expectations as it opened astringent but mellowed after 30 minutes. Some herbs, lavender, but didn’t come together on day 1. Let’s see Day 2 progress. Indeed Day 2 showed additional softening and more pronounced plum flavors and I have reflected that in my score

Spicy red fruit, blueberries, lavender, sage, spice, vanilla, smoky bark or wood chips (not in a bad way) and finely grained spice on the nose. Really quite a bit going on here. The palate has more spicy red fruit, hints of blue fruit, lavender — a touch of a slick mouthfeel. It’s not hot but you feel the 15 percent. Medium+ finish with the spice holding.
It’s good and punches above its weight price wise.

Excellent wine, big bodied with strong tannins particularly for a GCM blend. Blue and black fruits with spice, vanilla, leather, and tobacco. Wonderfully balanced. This is definitely a Californian styled wind with higher alcohol as opposed to a traditional French wine but I like the style and it taste great

This was delicious. Plumb, berries, coming together upon getting a little air. Classic Rousillon.
