Nose: dark fruit, bacon, cured meat, plum, burnt sugar, mossy, and toasted oak. Everything is pointing to a big dark wine. Taste: plum, prune, and dried dates. This is a deep, black 'preserved' fruit, and smooth tannin wine. There are big flavors and some leather. This will go good with steak...especially medium or rarer meat. Dry and a ton of good pistachio skin in the lingering aftertaste. This is a medium-big wine because of dark fruits and the flavor profile.
