Wine was lovely. It went beautifully with Thanksgiving Dinner. This is a restrained Zin, subtle with sweet fruit, black berries, chocolate, cranberries & warm spices. Tart cranberry lingers into finish. While I really liked the wine, it does lack the complexity, power and nuance of a great wine. If you have a bottle stashed, drink up.

See previous note. A Zin that, in a blind tasting, I bet 9 out of 10 tasters would think is Gamay. Very enjoyable - and unusual. 12.5% abv, lean, restrained, Gamay-like. After 90 mins open it changes markedly and is mostly sour cherries.

Delicious (and very atypical) CA zinfandel. Great freshness and acidity give structure to a light, elegant, restrained, low alcohol (12.5) zin. Nothing cloying, sweet, jammy or syrupy here. It is all about fresh cherries and raspberries, coupled with a touch of black olives. And plenty of tart cranberries. If you like cool weather Syrah or Pinot Noir, or perhaps even more to the point Cru Beaujolais, and you prefer your wine to be food friendly, this is the zin for you! Would very happily drink again. Perhaps revisit in a couple of years to see where this goes?

Plums, herbs, and dark berries on the nose. Nice acidity, red fruit, orange zest, and cedar on the palate. Good finish.
