This wine was incredibly pink! The most pink skin mascerated Pinot Gris I've seen, but it did only spend 36 hours on the skins. The aromas are very light, offering a quartzy minerality. It really just smells like a white wine; no notes of skin here. Quite sharp minerals on palate entry, then transitioning to some nice apples. It's light in body and pretty juicy, but lean in texture. Tart minerality on the finish with slight green apple skin note. Tastes like a white wine... wish for more skin contact.
