Community Tasting Notes (8) Avg Score: 87.4 points

  • Consistent with previous bottles. Almost identical to the 2009 vintage. Medium ruby in color, this wine cranberry, cinnamon, red cherry and an unusual but pleasant chemical smell reminiscent of shoe polish on the nose. The mouth feel is medium-bodied with soft tannins and red currant undertones. The finish was medium in length and brought the cinnamon and red fruit elements together very nicely. 13.5% abv.

Purchased recently for a discounted price of $13US, this is an awesome qpr.

Imported by Foley Family Wines, Sonoma, CA.
