This is the last of my bottles from this vintage and I've been really pleased it. It has been a great every day drinking Burgundy red that gives somewhat more in terms of flavour and complexity (as you would expect) than your typical Bourgogne Rouge and has been reasonable value for money.

Interesting evolution. This wine still stands above the typical Bourgogne Rouge and has now passed the initial very sexy forward fruit stage 6 months ago, showing nicely the 2012 vintage,. It is now a wine that needs time in the carafe and shows some acid on the back end. Its fruit does emerge in 20 minutes, and there is a hint of the smokey, earth-driven Gevrey notes. Either this will retreat and re-emerge or it must be consumed soon given the younger vines and/or run off.

Pas mauvais mais un peu mince en comparaison avec d'autres CDN Village (Remoissenet, Louis Boillot, Trapet Père & Fils).

This is the third bottle I've had and it continues to be a solid wine, that's why I've got another 6 bottles on order!
