Man I miss the days of PG issuing 12.5% pn, but I guess it reflects the weather here. This is very young still and kicking towards Beaune; it’s got a acid dark cherry thing expressed in a way that reminds me of Clos des Mouches. Really great nose. Age has given it a nice forest floor slash hazelnut skin kind of thing. Real heads know. Also oregano, yeah. The mix of lifted aromatics and savory finish made this absolutely wonderful with roast eggplant.

Translucent ruby in the glass; somewhat reticent, red-fruited nose.
Sweet & sour red fruits on the palate, with reasonable persistence on the finish. Light- to medium-bodied. On opening, this shows a little better than the Berserker Cuvee did last weekend.
just up the hill from Olenik, in Chehelam Mountains. Transitions from Marine soils to volcanic. darker cherry, but also some fruit cocktail notes to the nose. more stuffing. liveliness to the palate, light herb.

Very pleasant, mouthwatering juice with sour cherry and typical red fruit. Medium to light bodied. Refreshing. Drink now.

We were surprised by this, not an ordinary Pinot. Smooth, complex, lovely fruit notes. Perfect level of acidity and finish that does not fight food.
