First sip was too cold, too tight, and too acidic. I let it warm up and breath a little, and wow. Red fruit and tarry licorice, medium body and smooth smooth smooth, tannins on the finish were sweet and round. Very nice.

Red, slightly purple. Subtle chocolate, red fruit and slightly musty on the nose. Silky smooth, yet still very much "Italian" on the palate. Nice balance with a slightly sweet yet tart finish. Paid $14.99 at Binny's and this may be the best $14 red wine I've tasted.

Drunk off a restaurant wine list. So young, with luscious red fruits. Good structure with silky tannins and ample acidity. Needs some time to settle down, and I suspect 2-3 years will allow it to improve without losing any of its freshness. 89 with some room to improve.

nose of sour cherry and earth. Ripe fruit up front that evolves into earth and tart red plum. Wonderful, refreshing acidity in the finish. Really enjoyed this wine.

Great QPR. Full bodied, rounded fruit and aromas. Not the longest finish but balanced.
