  From the oenotheque machines at Hedonism in London. Another pleasant surprise for me. This is still too young, but showing some good stuffing. Red fruits and oak and these full mouth coating tannins. There’s something about the interaction of the components that makes me like this, but I do think it needs another 10 years for the oak to integrate.

  A dark, bold, full-bodied BdM with aromas of leather, cherry, black licorice, and oak. Very representative of the warm 2011 vintage (similar to 2007) with forward flavors of dark raspberry, dark cherry, leather, and licorice. Savory and sweet, this BdM will need a couple more years for the grainy tannins and oak to better integrate, although it can be enjoyed now with a 2 hour decant (+93).

  Huge tannins but amazing fruit core. Same core flavours as the Luce but it is a bigger and more powerful wine. Needs time but will be great with some cellaring.

  Definitely an MFP. (Made for Parker). Very dark, very oaky, very high in alcohol. Not my style in wine and certainly not my style in brunello.
