Nose apricot, petrol, lime, pear, mineral. Palate great acid, considerable mineral, nice fruit through am mid-long 3length finish. Very nicely made. Serious juice in the trocken style. Has remarkable richness for the style, notable from the spatlese level.

drank alongside the 2013 kabinett trocken, both showing the weak vintage in the form of unbalanced acidity and a hollow midpalate. the spatlese was definitely richer and had more depth, but was far from a rockstar. "fine" was the word most frequently used to describe it.

Not quite as nice as the 2012s. Has a slight edge of bitterness. Drinkable nonetheless.

Not our favorite. Drink up, not getting any better.

To echo the previous note, fine.
And that might be a tad generous considering what others managed to produce under the same conditions
