Hunter Valley - 6 Cellar Doors (Hunter Valley): {screwcap, A$50} Toasty and aged. A citrus tang, along with a nutty quality. Still medium acid present. The palate has a resiny quality, or glue. Mead/honey; it’s a weird mix of flavours, but always bone-dry on the palate. Perhaps more advanced than I was expecting; I reckon this is in ‘drink now’ territory.
