10.3% and amazing intensity for this level alcohol, hunter valley and andrew thomas does it again. Light to mid yellow hue. Enticing aroma of hay, cut grass, lanolin, wet rocks, mead/honey. Spot on and in the groove. Medium development with complex secondary development but at same time beguiling high acid with that clean cut finish that only this terroir (HV) can produce. As good as it gets with this caviar (ok, lumpfish roe not russian sturgeon). Methinks 5 years in reserve but honestly why wait? Dang, I bought a bottle not a case.
