  • Decanted for 45 mins. Drinking very nice. Fruit still there, smooth with a nice finish. 2 more in the cellar, looking forward to those over the coming 1-2 years (max).

  • Needed a bit of a decant. Bright fruit forward notes of red berries, touch of meat, anise, leather, cocoa. A bit tight on the finish.

  • Still just a tad young...let breathe for 2 hours and really did not open up until end of dinner and after. Licorice and graphite with dark fruit, but in no way an alcohol or fruit bomb, rather elegant, but not a lightweight wine. Must admit I expected a bit more given the price, but not disappointed. Just over the line into the excellent range from very good. Doesn't bode well for future purchases as there are Aussie Shiraz's that are as good for less, and some Cali Central Coast Syrahs, too.

  • Deep inky purple, intense fruit on the nose with floral, herbs, dill. Full body jammy syrah with plums, dark fruit, tobacco and chewy tannins. Decanted 1 hour. Not lacking in alcohol content. Delicious

  • Very dark ruby core and purple rim with high optical density. Intense aromas of spicy, ripe dark berries, bright tobacco, and savory, crunchy forest over hints of game. Refreshing acidity, full body, and ripe, fine tannins over a dense, rich texture. Flavours of jammy dark fruit hits the attack, with savory spice filling cracks in jam in the rich midpalate. Dried blue fruits and bacon grilled over tobacco fire lingering for great length, where cracked black pepper comes on in smouldering aftermath. Big, bold, flavour-packed wine. Voluptuous like a Merlot, with modern, spicy Syrah notes in format that isn't shy. A nice wine that is delicious and beautiful with some superficial character. Hugely enjoyable if you want drinkable, fruit-intense, and moderately complex, but this would require the right mood, and perhaps the right food.
