We poured a few bottles from our cellar and the wine is drinking beautifully 8 years on. 2012 was a wonderful even growing season for Sonoma pinot noir. Not too jammy. Good minerality. Nice melange of berries. Dutton Goldfield holds up!

McDougall is always a great wine, and another in Dutton Goldfield's broad portfolio of outstanding pinot noirs.

Agree that this takes a long time to open up, but was gone by the time it might have shown its best. Generally, my least favorite of the D-G Pinots.

Wine was very tight and did not open up for a couple of hours. One opened up it was like tart cherries and bright fruit.
