  Very dark purple. Expressive nose of dark plums, cinnamon, clove, chocolate and dark berries. Full-bodied with high fruit concentration and heat from high alcohol (15% on the label but probably more), soft tannins and low acidity. Long aftertaste. Modern, international-style and well made merlot. Difficult to pair with food but very enjoyable on its own. Shows better in a large Bordeaux glass. Could merrit a score in the 90+ range had the alcohol been better integrated.
