Medium ruby color. Nose of crushed flowers, earth, cherries and a touch of green herbs or pepper. Similar flavors on the palate with tart, crunchy red fruits and earthy, peppery notes. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and body. A bit lean but I enjoyed the mix of fruit and earth it delivered.

This bottle was off, maybe slightly corked. Flavors muted and "dirty" -- didn't have the vibrant fruit of previous bottles. Not undrinkable, but not nearly as good as previous bottles.

Another solid bottle of this stuff. With an hour or so of slow-oxing and warming to room temp, this didn't disappoint. Hard to find a better $16 bottle of red. Unmistakably Gamay, but has a real Burgundy feel to it.

Again, needed a ton of air to show off its savory, earthy qualities.

Good once again, but didn't last long enough to get the aeration it needed.
