My 1st Alto Adige pinot noir. Very straight forward and classic. Very crunchy cranberry and raspberry fruit, some stems, forest wood and spices and tart back end acids. Paired well with leftover roasted chicken.

Potpourri and herbal aromas lead to black cherry, allspice and earthy flavors. Perfect acidity/fruit balance with a long lasting finish.

Purple flowers and purple berried bouquet. Pleasant fruit draping a medium plus acid frame. Supple and generous, substantive finish. 89-90.

Seattle Wine Group - Nov 2015 Tasting - "Pinots of the World" (Amaroso Room - Wine Storage Bellevue): Strong nose of black cherry and mushrooms with some floral aspects. Corresponding strong palate that follows the nose but also a touch funky and peppery. Nice streak of acidity on the finish with some iron/mineral notes. However, finish is a bit light and falls off quickly. Young.
I seem to be the oddball on this wine, as most rated it low but it was one of my favorites.
