Completely unexpected. Thinking we'd get brine, citrus and minerals, this turned out to be wax honey (like a honey-comb), peaches, and butter. Somewhere between a Gewurz without the oiliness and a Chenin without the Loire minerality. Somehow perfect with scallops, potato fritters and salad. Really interesting wine that could easily work at the end of a meal with cheese.

Light lemon color with a slight greenish tinge. Nose of Granny Smith apple with light floral and mineral notes. Medium bodied on the palate with a good acidic grip through the finish.

floral nose, intense in the mouth with complex fruit, mineral and herbal flavors throughout. medium acidity and finishes fairly long. She says "This is a wine to give that Red Wine Guy who thinks white wines are a waste of time" ;)

Kermit Lynch's Italian Roadshow (with the winemakers) (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Lean and slightly tart aromas. Softer palate here, with lightly tart and creamy melon notes, with a hint of minerality. Creamy finish with round melon fruit and light minerality.

Super tasty, melon, peach, lemon drop, richness with flowers and minerality.
