Purple to cherry at the rim. Not much bouquet but I have a stuffy head so that may be the pro. Lots of black fruits up front. Medium to full with some tannins still to resolve. Carriers across the palate to a 15 to 20 second finish. Still young for my taste will try in another year

Cherry to orange at the rim. Right in its drinking window.
Reb fruit up front carrying across to a short finish
Drink over the next three years

A very nice cab. A little thin, but good fruit cassis, dark chocolate and fine grain tannins.

First Trip to Napa Valley and San Francisco: Cabernet Sauvignon Addition; 10/1/2015-10/10/2015 (Napa Valley and San Francisco): Tour with Eye on Wine and tasted at Black Cordon Vineyard with India. Hosted by Lara.
Appearance: Purplish red.
Nose: Cherry, Cassis and Vanilla.
Palate/Finish: Furry, solid tannins, slightly tart, dry and very approachable for 2012. Grips the back of tongue and mid palate.
Opinion: Very approachable and winemaker is Paul Hobbs, didn't know that before.
